Shannon

Rooted in Irish, Shannon is a girl's name that means "Old". It was at its most popular in the 1970s and is rarely chosen now. As things stand now, it is widely recognized. Few names stick around this long: it shows up across almost the entire twelve-decade span this registry covers.
