Melisa

Rooted in Greek, Melisa is a girl's name that means "Greek meli, honey bee". It has cooled since its 1970s peak, though it is still chosen today. As things stand now, it is a distinctive, less common pick. It has shown up in U.S. birth records across 8 of the last twelve decades.
