Maisie

Maisie means "Scottish diminutive of Margaret" and comes from Scottish, giving it real etymological depth as a girl's name. It shows no signs of slowing down, reaching new highs in the 2010s. In the current registry, it is a real rarity. The registry counts around 5,253 U.S. births under this name going back to 1900.
