Florene

As a girl's name, Florene traces back to Latin, where it is understood to mean "Latin florens, flourishing". It has not appeared in recent U.S. birth records, last common back in the 1920s. As things stand now, it is a rare find in the registry. 1919 was this name's high-water mark in the U.S. birth records.
