Girl
Fern
Fern is a girl's name meaning "English, from the plant name", drawing on English roots. It was at its most popular in the 1920s and is rarely chosen now. As things stand now, it is a solidly familiar choice. It has appeared in U.S. birth records in nearly every decade since 1900, a genuinely long run.
