Ember

As a girl's name, Ember traces back to English, where it is understood to mean "English word name, from glowing coal embers". It is currently on the rise, with its biggest decade yet in the 2010s. As things stand now, it is a distinctive, less common pick. Since 1900, roughly 8,740 babies in the U.S. have been given this name.
