Cindy

Cindy means "Moon goddess" and comes from Greek, giving it real etymological depth as a girl's name. It belongs mostly to the 1960s at this point. These days, it is familiar to most people. It has appeared in U.S. birth records in nearly every decade since 1900, a genuinely long run.
