Chrystal

As a girl's name, Chrystal is understood to mean "ice, clear glass". It had its heyday in the 1980s and has mostly fallen out of use since. Today, it is on the rarer side without being unusual in the registry. 1982 was this name's high-water mark in the U.S. birth records.
