Bristol

As a girl's name, Bristol traces back to Old English, where it is understood to mean "Old English place name". It is currently on the rise, with its biggest decade yet in the 2010s. As things stand now, it is a rare find in the registry. It has shown up in U.S. birth records across 9 of the last twelve decades.
